stopped for gas at the station on the palisades parkway north right off the GW bridge tonight and a guy in a metallic 370 was getting gas in front of me. I rolled by and said nice whip, he obliged and we raced a bit up the palisades. not sure if he's a forum member

Nice. I bought my Z in Cortlandt Manor and though I live in PA I took the Z for a spirited run through the Palisades before I came home. Simply couldn't resist...fun roads, beautiful views.

This week I've seen a bunch of Z's here in PA, I would say 2 a day on average. Guess people are getting their toys out now that the weather is getting so nice.

A 370Z will ape a standard Mustang GT. But will get destroyed by a new 5.0GT - stock for stock.

If you do full bolt-ons + tune to the 370Z, you'll be neck-and-neck with a stock 5.0. But then again, if it's a modded 5.0, a Z will get smoked again. Those cars run high-11s modded, we run in the middle-12s modded. About 5-6MPH difference in trap speeds too.

Who cares, Z looks a million times better and handles better. Also the Mustang is a chicks car. I see nothing but older women driving new 5.0's holding their cigarette out the window. A car is more than a straight line. American cars just pack in retarded amounts of horsepower into anything they make. I mean 650bhp on a GT500, that's crazy.
