thanks.
No idea. I have never been to one. I do all of my stuff on my own. I found that, nobody is going to take care of your baby like you do. I can recommend some good quality products to DIY... Also there are a million and one DIY's on here. Are you totally opposed to DIY? It takes a little bit of elbow grease and time, but when all is said and done... I think I'm more proud of the end result because I did it. Know what I mean?

I do 95% of all work on my Z...but i feel like a professional detailer with a good reputation is something that i would feel comforatable looking into. I dont have any experience with clay bar or polishing. but as for i wax, i hand wax myself.

I have had great experience with polishes and clay bar, myself. One thing I could recommend before going the professional route is a product made by Turtle Wax, in their "ICE" line, called Clay bar kit $15.99 on Amazon right now. This stuff is absolutely amazing, and extremely easy to use. I think it should solve your swirly issues...
Product info: ICE Clay Kit to provide the ultimate finish preparation for wax or polish. Includes 16 oz. ICE Liquid Clay to clean above the surface dirt and contaminants and even remove minor swirl marks, ICE Detailing Clay Bar to clean below the surface contamination and 16 oz. ICE Clay Bar Lubricant to allow the clay bar to glide over your vehicle’s surface.

thanks.
Lets give him what he wants damm.. lol
Idk how far you live from rt 130 in Pennsauken NJ cause I personally will recommend Machos Detailing and wash. First off I was a detailer for many years before I do what i do now. I rubbed and detailed cars till my balls hit the floor. Anyway, I was only at his shop cause my boy works across the street. There was a 370 parked in front and of course i was nosey to see his work. He did a full detail on that and it came out nice. His clientele of vehicles were all FTD.(fresh to death) He takes his work way beyond i used to do, even now! So i told him to hit me up with just a Vac right quick. lol only.. it was even closing time... This guy cleaned my mats and rugs like it was going to Sema that day. He treats every car like its his own it seems. He was so involved I was impressed. I can only imagine what he'd do if I cut'em loose on the whole car..lol At the end of that little vac job he refused to take my money. I asked him why? howcome? Macho gently laughed and said " Im not sweatin the small $hit. Im just giving you a taste how i do things here" i was like....... your the truth bro. Pm me I'll take you there if interested. I just might unleash this pit bull on my Z as well lol

I used this exact product from Turtle wax before. It actually is really nice and I thought the results were great considering its a little clay bar kit for $16...

Off topic of this quote but I was just wondering how you plan on passing NJ inspection with those headers?? Or do you have a hookup? If so SEND ME IN HIS DIRECTION Im already upset enough about having to swap my test pipes out to get through, Id hate to have to deal w LTH's.

I don't know about Jersey, but my mechanic doesn't give a shat about LTH'S... cats were his only concern for the emissions. Why would lths cause a fail???

if you have LTH, you dont have cats.

I have LTH, i dont have cats lol.

And to answer the question about getting it inspected...I aint due for inspection until 2015, so its not my number one concern. Although my buddy with an evo w/ out cats drove straight through NJ inspection station without a hitch.

Im gonna say its going to depend on the mood of the inspector to decide if its worth putting the car on a lift to check it out.
