More good news, I found a new winter car, well not a new one, a 1998 Legacy SUS. It's AWD, and will get a fresh set of blizzaks, that only cost around $400 on those oem wheels.... My Z is going to be covered up, and hopefully garaged as soon as I get it back (and weather begins to change).
My new vanity plates are on their way as well, just received the registration (so they accepted my crazy idea). Minimum 2 letters, and no one had ZZ. LOL. Someone at the Glen Cove meet last I was there gave me the idea, one of Arnold's friends. The Z may never be a sleeper, but it will be getting some Z's lol lol. With a secured second car, and everything worked out, I plan on doing quite a bit of modding when finances allow for it. If next year is a big year for me, maybe a Stillen SC??? Those Rays forged rims may go on first. I'lll have all winter to plan out the ZZ |

Well I got my car back from Performance Autobody.
This was honestly the first very positive experience I had getting auto body work done, especially considering I had a negative experience last November dealing with some "luxury" auto body place in great neck.... The car looks better then the day I picked it up. Honestly the only thing I noticed was the smell of paint (inside), and a chip on the hood, and in the scheme of things that's nothing considering that this car had the top branch of a tree on it (during an electrical explosive fire), and now has a new roof, hatch, and as Wally put it: 5/8 of the car was repainted. Speaking of that, he was awesome to deal with, and very helpful through the whole experience. Very smart and honest guy. Pleasure dealing with him. I'd never imagine myself praising the work of a body shop, but yea this place is awesome... I'll have pictures up as soon as time and weather permits, including the cool plates I just got for my car. Will bring it out Wednesday if we actually have a meet. |

Awesome news dood - Unless it's pouring tomorrow night, you should def come out to the meet - I'm going to go unless weather is awful.
