Tuned at RDZ Tuning,Danbury

Finally got around to tune my ride.Wow,what a difference after the Uprev Tune!!.All my mods finally work as they should.Getting more power, and better fuel mileage.I guess Factory Tune is way to rich.
My Props to the guys at RDZ Tuning in Danbury.Great atmosphere, clean shop, and no pushy sales pitch. Finally found the Shop to do all the work on my car.All of you New Englanders should check them out.
Their website is RDZMotorsports | Serious Nissan Performance Modifications and they are located at 12 South Street in Danbury CT.

BTW they are the only Authorized Uprev Tuners in Connecticut.

Congrats

Any dyno numbers?

EVOnomore 08-18-2011 07:20 AM

Not yet.Little short on $$.
Will Dyno the car within few weeks. Will post the numbers soon.
BTW the car pulls like a monster, and getting better fuel mileage.
It was running way to rich from the Factory,so even with no mods it is wise to have that thing Tuned.

Not to sound like a d*ck but how did they properly tune your car without a dyno? I thought that was the proper way to do it?

Pelican170 08-18-2011 11:30 AM

Hey, I live in Danbury and have been talking to them about doing an Uprev, just expensive for the dyno tuned Uprev. Can I ask what they charged you?

Glad to hear their shop is clean and they are nice. Wasn't fully sure if they knew what they were doing or not...

You can have it tuned with a premapped UpRev tune or the dyno tuned way....more proper with the dyno...

I'd also like to know the $$$$

I checked their website and there is a *glowing* review from none other than Bob Sharp on the RDZ shop. Sharp is also apparently a "Director" of the shop now, I would tend to assume that is a ceremonial thing, but still...it's freaking Bob Sharp.

Osiris Standard $ 500 plus Tax.
Premapped UpRev tune.If want to shell out some more cash,Dyno is the way to go.
I am pretty happy with the UpRev Map in my car.

Good to know! I grew up in the Danbury area, and would definitely consider their shop when I'm ready for a tune. Only a couple hours from where I live now.

We up load your Z or G with the Upgraded Tunes from Up Rev.

Then we tune Map 1 with own our custom Maps. These are derived from tuning many other Z's (call for more details on this).

Map 2 remains the Standard Osiris flash

Map 3 can be programmed for Valet

Map 4 & 5 remain Standard Osiris flash
There are not needed for most setups

Additional tunes are not necessary on most NA Z & G cars

Because this process can be detailed and sometime confusing feel free to contact me
We are here to help produce the best car in the country!
