Sunday Mornings Captree / Oak Beach Meet & Cruise
 

After the baller bakerz meet last weekend i figured we could try a change of pace.

Every Sunday Morning there is a car meet at Oak Beach off Ocean Parkway. This is a pretty sweet meet, lambos, ferraris and porsche gt2's are typical occurances here.

The meet usually starts around 7 or 8am, and ppl start leaving between 10 & 11.

Regardless, the road leading to it is pretty fun to drive on, nice views, ton of nice cars around, and NO TRAFFIC. woo. As long as its nice out, there should be a ton of cars. We could also do lunch or something after.

For those looking to GPS to gauge distance, you can GPS:

1 Ocean Pkwy, Wantagh, NY

however this will take u to "the point", and its about 4 miles from here.

Either way, i think we should all meet up prior. The Auto Zone Parking Lot is on the way for most people, and should be easy enough to find.

This goes on every sunday all summer so could be a weekly thing. Its all early enough to not interfere with most peoples sundays.

hah - yea, i wish it started later, but seeing some of these cars is well worth it.

last week i showed up around 10:30 and only about 10 cars were left.

I've wanted to go to this meet for a while; could be down for this (am supposedta be in the east Hamptons this weekend, but will probably blow it off).

haha the bird is well. I havent really driven the car since that sunday however.


yea its pretty cool, just wish it wasnt so early.

Its been a few years since I made it out to one of these meets. lol I think one of the last times I went was when I did the 205mph sprint in a buddies TT Ford GT before he sold it. Im due to go again soon.
