As for which will last longer, I suppose thats debatable. Some claim that the added stress that a belt driven SC adds is harder on the engine than the swift kick in the crank of torque that the TT provides. I believe that although the SC adds some extra work for the engine, the linear power delivery is much less harsh on the internals and will last longer.

yea that's what i've been told. I'm waiting for the Stg 2 SC to be released.

Does the enginge NEED to be removed to install a SC. Trying to figure out if it's worth the 4-5k for labor.

No way, the engine does NOT need to come out at all for an SC install, 4-5k is a lot for just labor on installing the kit.

when it comes to labor. find out the shops labor rate, and then how many hours they are saying it will take. does it take 50 hours to install a supercharger? i dont know.

I was given a quote of 10,800 for Kit + Labor + Tune

kit cost around $6500..

Might just do it on my own, we'll see

I know how long it takes to install a supercharger, thats why I said 4-5k sounds like a lot of its just labor. The kit can and has been done over a weekend/several nights. It's no more than 20 hours of labor for a DIY.

Dyno tuning is also another expense that they included in that price, depending on how many hours on the dyno of course this can add up as well.

anthony get some nice license plate frames, the ones you had before just look like plain dealership plates. Get some with color, and that are logo oriented rather than text. I want one

I will pass that on to Gary and Alex and see what we can do. I do agree though.
