Does $500 include dyno time?

Yes, the car is tuned on the DYNO and you will get a read out on your power after the tune.

Just a heads up, when we UpRev your car we don't just plug n play and flash. Each car gets their own unique custom tune to support your different mods.

Nice....

I might be interested. Would a baseline dyno print out be included or extra? Also do you increase the rev limiter or is that optional?

JDMFairlady21 04-05-2011 02:13 PM

Definitely have a baseline printout along with the after tune printout as well :)

Each car gets dyno tuned and not just reflashed with a general tune. As far as raising the rev limiter, we could do it, but it doesn't really improve anything so we leave it where it is set.

Why can't you be located closer to MD?!?!? I haven't done too much research if theres uprev shops here in MD yet but I know AAM was pushing the cobb tuner pretty hard last time I talked to them. I really am not a fan of using a discontinued product on my car like this.

Yea, I would Definitely stick with UpRev. And I'm also speaking from personal experience as I have UpRev tuned my personal Z. Im not sure what shop in your area is an authorized Uprev pro tuner, but at least you know where we are located, unfortunately we are a bit of a drive from you.

If you go on UpRev's website it will have a list of dealers that are authorized through them. If there is nothing in your area, you are more then welcome to take the trip up. Bring a laptop with a we offer free wifi, so you can surf around if you get bored, or you can even watch the process since our dyno cell has an outside flat screen monitor with real time data feeds, and windows that look into the cell so you can see your car on the dyno.

No, that's great, thanks. Anything you guys want to do to help reach or surpass the number of cars to get the group rate, (as long as it's done in a proper way) then I am all for it. Post it up where ever since I cannot as it would prob be flagged as spam since we are not sponsors on all forums. But you guys are more then welcome to.

NY Area Uprev Tuning Group Buy - Nissan Frontier / Navara Forum

most guys on that forum are more interested in lifting (or lowering) than going faster but it's worth a shot

note: i hope my edit on that thread doesn't sound negative about your shop since i do not have any experience with it, i'm just a "buyer beware!" kind of person

That kind of comes off like we dont have a good reputation when in reality our reputation actually dates back into the 60's. In all honesty and dont take this the wrong way but what you wrote would probably scare me off. I think you should try and reword it. I do appreciate the effort to help get this out there, but it kind of makes us sound like a shady shop.

I thought once you remove the limiter doesnt the motor continue making near peak hp all the way to 8k? Is it unsafe or something? If not i dont see a reason not to do it, would prob add some fun factor at the track
