Default Anyone get pleasure out of installing exhausts and drinking beer.

Soooooo, being that I dont have a lift or stands, I was wondering if anyone in the Long Island region wanted a free lunch/beers to help (and by help I mean me pass you tools and ask questions) install it!?

So if cat backs, beer and food makes you happy then I am pretty confident in my ability to make this somewhat entertaining. Hey it can even be done before a meet or something and we can drive down together...plus it should start getting warmer mid april...

Thanks

Question

Beer and food = cool. Labor? Not. Do you need supervision, and does that still qualify for the beer and food?

If its just a cat-back (no mention of touching the cats) then its a really simple job. Ive only done 2 exhausts in my day, Borla on my 3000GT and Fast Intentions on the Z (along with HFCs which was a pain). Having a lift will make it much more comfortable. I have a ditch dug out in my garage and wouldnt mind helping out, but keep in mind Im 23 and no expert

Congrats on the exhaust

Well I'm not completely useless, I've just never installed an exhaust before, and don't have any way of getting the car up. So with that being said, guidance/assistance is more of what I am looking for.

Kielbasa, thats 2 more exhausts than I've installed (I'm a year younger than you), so you are already much more knowledgeable than I

so yea, if someone doesn't mind beer/food as payment than I am all in.

Then unless you find a more preferable option lets go for it. Like I said, I have a ditch so we can easily access the exhaust and an impact gun to get the bolts off easily.

Ok awesome, your help is much appreciated. Like i said, the exhaust wont be here till around the second week in April, so I will PM you my number and we can keep in touch. Maybe there will be something going on (Car Meets) that we can attend that day as well.

I was ready to place the order, than saw a good deal on the ARK exhaust so bought my mods slightley out of order.

It'll have to wait a few more weeks now. =/ I really want to see picks of the one you bought first though. I couldn't decide between the two and they are similiarly priced.

Id say that was a good move, I went with full bolt ons before turning to exterior modifications.
Take a look at forum members RCZ and Falcor. They both have the spoiler Im going to install. Neither is black, but RCZ's car was the one that sold me on it.
