Anyone planning on making the 13+ hour drive down to NC. I might drag my GF along, was wondering if anyone from the area is planning on going?

It's kind of a hike.. haha
I wish someone here in New England would put together a convoy drive or something. I'm too busy to organize, but would love to attend something closer I'm not completely against the idea though and my fiancee is into traveling..

FYI ZDayZ is actually in North Carolina. I'm sure that was a typo but just in case. That makes it a little closer.

The real question is what goes on there, is it worth the drive? When is it, somebody throw out some details

Admittedly, I just skimmed through that for the highlights but if I picked out all the important facts this takes place on Thursday (I assume starting later in the day?) Friday, and Saturday? And all of that is only $60?
I imagine lodging is separate though right, it's gotta be, do they have a discounted rate or anything?

Lodging is discounted but if you guys want to come you better call the Fontana Village Resort NOW to get booked. They are almost full already.
It's literally in the middle of no where and you WANT to be at the Village. That's where all the fun is and the closest motels in the area are 20+ minutes away.

Sounds like I've got some thinking to do on this one...

So I would need a room for three nights right? (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) For those of you who have made the trip before, what does it really end up costing? We're looking at ~$500+ right?

Depends on if you stay in a cabin or a room.
If you get a 3 bedroom cabin, it will probably be 800-1000 for the 3 nights, but if you put 3 guys in rooms and 1 on the couch thats $200-250 + food + beer. And if you do the Full Access pass you get a Zdayz T-shirt(love mine), 2 free dinners and attendance prizes(headers, test pipes, cool shitt). So depending on how much you drink and eat. And if you can get some friends to share a cabin, it can really come out cheap. The most expense part of the trip is going to be Gas.....premium only FTL Hope that helps |
