Powder Coating/ Tint Shops
Can anyone recommend me to any good shops that offer tinting and powder coating? I'll be powder coating my rims and calipers.
|
I actually got a quote from TRGCoating.
120 for each wheel and 50 for each calipers. Too far from me though... |
I recommend Shades of Gray in Feasterville,PA for your tint and Liquid Powder Coats in Yardley,PA for your powder coating needs. A little bit of a drive but well worth it. Thats where i go. Top quality work.

Thank you!
But I was sort of looking for a place in nj/ny area! |
"The Tint Shop" on route 1 north bound side in Edison, NJ for tinting. They do amazing work..little more money but worth it when it comes to having a nice car opposed to just having any old place throw some tint on your windows. Very professional. Ask for Rob. Lemme know if your gonna go there...gettin my z done soon and they always work out deals for me...im waiting on a few others to get tinted...we can all get it done and save some money. lemmw know

Damn... That might change my plans. Thanks for letting know zcoupe! |
no problem...a friend of mine just got them installed on his 07 330i and when he got the car back you can see the "3m" in like 2-3 spots on each window...he was pissed and has since changed all the tint...

i had 3m tints on my b13. the logo was the least of my concerns, if anything they were a plus cuz it made it look legit. the important thing about 3m tints is that even if you get 5% tints all around, its still bright inside when your looking out. its pitch black when you look in. but when your inside, you can see everything clearly. and u dont need to worry about scratching the tint or about fading into blue or purple or w/e. like i said 3M logo makes it look legit IMO. it lets others know that you have quality tints on lol

TINTS - BOOM BOOM in PALISADES PARK, NJ
they have a shop in NY as well, Collegepoint i believe. they did my 20%'s & as well as the top front windowshield tint. 3m tints only. service was great. |
Auto Creations in Raritan Boro are excellent with tints, and they do a bunch of other stuff. They tinted my truck and it came out great, and they'll be tinting my Z on Wednesday. Heres their web site: http://www.auto-creations.net/index.html Their service is always great, and prices are resonable. Theres another place down the street from them who tint a little cheaper, however they use some tint that has a greenish ting to it and their service is awful. I origonally went their to get tints for my truck, made an appointment and just started looking at some stuff in their shop and they kicked me out. Glad they did or I would of never found Auto Creations.
