Nick911sc 02-29-2012 07:18 PM

how are the meets looking lately? I'm hoping to start attending again soon..

AlphaSnacks 02-29-2012 07:31 PM

Every Wed lately has been terrible weather. But usually they turn out well, the BMWs roll around. Wish we had more Zs come out to this.

Nick911sc 02-29-2012 07:39 PM

If the weather keeps improving, with no rain, I'll try to get my lazy *** back out there lol

Z owners gathering together, meeting up at a pre-determined time at a pre-determined location and forming a community based within the New York City/greater N.Y./tri-state area? That's balderdash!

It would be funny if this actually weren't the truth...:shakes head:

AlphaSnacks 02-29-2012 09:45 PM

Yeah, it's weird...because the BMW guys hang out, quite literally, on a daily basis if the weather permits. Hahaha. I love that.

But alas, Arnold, you're forgetting the golden rule of BMW ownership: you must spend all your time talking about your "Ultimate Driving Machine," and none of your time actually driving it.

Conversely, Z owners can't form a legitimate and coherent community because we're all stuck at home due to faulty steering locks. And those that aren't, wouldn't be able to drive far from their garage/driveway/curbside parking space as their engine oil would immediately overheat. And those who were able to overcome the dastardly, all-menacing oil temperature issue (through the obscure form of sorcery known as an oil cooler), they wouldn't be able to stop once they got going, as their brakes would also immediately overheat.

In short, that's why the NSX is the best car. Ever. In the world.

AlphaSnacks 02-29-2012 11:01 PM

Those BMW bastards rack up the miles on their cars making all sorts of runs up and down LI.

But yeah, did you sell your Z too?
