Who has HFCs on Long Island?
 

I'm back and forth on whether or not to get HFCs. If someone on LI has them (preferably with an aftermarket CBE) I'd love to get together to take a listen. Lunch/Drinks are on me!

Nope, the only reason I dont have the parts on already is cuz my 'go big or go home' father is building a pit in the garage so we can do the install ourselves.

I do, but my car is in the shop and I'm in the process of changing out my F.I. 18" resonators for the non-resonated setup. ;)

They're sitting in a box in my bedroom. I'm hoping to call VTR tomorrow and setup an install. But my CBE, yes, Berk, let the comments start, are yet to be here. so if eric doesnt get his car back (which sounded awesome when i heard it) and you wanna hear the HFC's, let me know.

yea yea, knew someone would say something. but VTR is installing my HFC's tuesday, after having them in my room for over a month, yeah im lazy. so if you wanna hear them with stock exhaust, let me know.

im in queens, i have fast intentions hfc's and berk catback exhaust. and yes BERK lol.

Why are you guys having shops install your HFC/test pipes? Why not just DIY? It's straight forward and cheap.

because not everyone has the tools or time? are you offering to do it for people for free?

The time to and from the shop plus the wait time is all it takes. There are only 3 pieces of tools you need. Now if you don't have the skills to do it that's a different story. And yes I would be willing to help, that's what a forum is all about ;)

Zeto, got my HFC's installed the other day. Even though i only have them on so far, the car sounds great with them.

Yea they do! Do you have any hiss with them? What brand?

they're the Berk HFC, i dont hear any hiss with them, and if there is, its cause im paying attention to the growl it makes accelerating.

My next mod! Should mate with the Berk CBE rather well, eh Justin?
