Road Run Around the Mighty Hudson River - June 19 2010

Since my previous drives were posted with short notice and caused for light attendance, I figured I'd post this drive with ample notice to give everyone a chance to come out and get together with other Z enthusiasts.

The NY Z Car Club organized this drive. I will attend this drive and wanted to post the info for those who may be interested:

Start:

First group will meet at the Mobile gas station at Annsville Circle Cortlandt, NY
Arrive - 6:45 am --> leave 7:00 am

Group will head over the Bear Mountain Bridge and head south on the P.IP.
Then exit @ exit 10 of the P.I.P. and meet in the park and ride to the left off the exit.
Arrive - 7:30 am -->leave 07:40 am

South on P.I.P. to G.W.B.
G.W.B. to Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95 North) exit at Gunhill Rd and meet at the Fridays parking lot where we have our weekly meets.
Arrive - 8:25 am --> leave 9:30 am
(meet all NYC and L.I. members here)

I-95 North to Hutchinson Pkwy to Merritt Pkwy North
Merritt Pkwy North to first service station
Arrive - 10:15 am --> leave by10:25 am
(Meet CTZCC members here)

Merritt Pkwy North to Diner or eatery.
When we are done with lunch we will follow the directions below:

Merritt Pkwy North to High Ridge Road to New York State and eventually Route 684
Route 684 either North or South. Depends on how many members we have left. High Ridge Road is a beautiful road to drive on.

Basically members should plan to be out driving until noon or so. This is meant to be a fun day where we all just get out and drive our cars! Members from outside the stop points should make arrangements to arrive together if they can example: Long Island group.

We will have a fun and safe day!

Hmm, I might have my Berks and Ark exhaust installed by then. I'll definitely try to make it. It would be pretty badass having 3 40th anny's there.

when the day comes closer, I'll be sure. Maybe LI/NYC can meet somewhere before?

The LI/NYC meet location for this drive is the same location I use for setting up the drives I've done in the past.

I'm excited for the drive with so many Z's. I didn't get my car back yet though, hopefully middle of this week, hoping for at least 320 to the wheels :tup:

Was trying to figure out the route based on your description starting at the LI meetup, see attached. Thats about 46 miles, hour drive give or take. The route wasn't very specific, I just like to have a general idea on where were headed in my mind ;)

Kind of a hike for me. I'd be in if a few guys from central Jersey go and we all kinda cruise up together
