Z speed shops
 

Hi Fellow Members,
The weather is getting warmer so it's time to take out the car again and have all my goodies installed. I'm looking for a reputable shop on Long Island or Westchester. I know about VinTen which is one of the places I will be going to tomorrow, there was another one mentioned I think in Patchogue but I can't for the life of me remember the name. Could someone freshen my memory with the second shop on the Island and if you know of one in Westchester I could use that to. I also can't remember the name of our contact at VinTen. I will need the following installed, FI cat back exhaust, Eibach springs and front and rear spacers installed. I would hope to pick a shop the is familiar with the FI exhaust. Thanks for the help.

Vinny ten is a really nice and smart guy who can help you out himself. I've been by his shop a few times, highly recommended!

So I took a ride to Performance Motorsports in Shirley Long Island today to get a price on having all my goodies installed. I will get to that in a minute, but first I was told by Andy (owner/installer) that I'm going to have a shaking problem in the front if I install the H & R spacers. Now I know there was a problem with some spacers but I was sure that there isn't a problem with the H&R spacers that have the replacement studs. Please correct him (me) if he's wrong. He told me he would install them for me but I would be back to have them removed. I would also like to know how you folks feel about the shop. I was given a price of $480.00 + tax to install front and rear spacers, Eibach springs and the ever popular FI cat back exhaust. Your thoughts please. I will be going to Vinny Ten on Thursday. If there are any other shops that are recommended in the Long Island or the Westchester area please let me know

:iagree:Had the chance to meet Vinny today and was happy I made the trip. He's a really nice guy and listened to all my concerns. His price was a little more $510.00 out the door, but I know I will be happy using him so it's worth the extra money to me. Looks like next week if the weather holds up.:happydance:

We are out in NNJ a bit far our pricing would be about the same as both those quotes. We've installed a few sets of eibachs and FI exhausts.

They do mostly STIs and Evos (natch) but I saw a badass FI 350Z there the other day while I was doing a dyno pull.
