AZP Installs- An Introduction
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know we signed up to be a vendor on here. We'll give it a shot and see if we can help you guys get your maintenance and bolt-on upgrades done. We've worked on one members car and Danny GT is one of our old customers from his WRX days. Hopefully we can help you guys keep your cars maintained, looking good and throw on a few mods as well. We aren't a quicky slam-bam thank you ma'am type shop. Over the years we've worked with our clients to help them to modify their cars and move toward their ultimate goal while not wasting money along the way.
We've been working in the Subaru realm since 2001 and also come from an Auto-x, HPDE and Road Race background. Adam, the A in AZP is a road racer and track instructor as well as the head mechanic. I am a track instructor, Director of Timing & Scoring and Race Director for NASA-NE. No job is too small so don't hesitate to ask. We also try to test everything we sell on our own cars on track before we push or promote it to our clients. If we can drive at 130mph on the track and feel confident the part is safe, then we feel confident in putting it on our client's cars. If we cannot handle a job, we won't hesitate to tell you "no" however, we have a lot of contacts with other shops as well and will direct you to a place we trust to get the work done if we can't handle it. Feel free to e-mail/PM/AIM us anytime to ask questions, or get pricing. Looking forward to working with the Z community! -mike AIM: AZP Installs E-mail: paisan@azpinstalls.com 725 Fairfield Ave (Rear) Kenilworth, NJ "Race Tested, Enthusiast Approved!" |

Welcome to the forum. We are always jealous to see all the shops located in west coast. It's great to know there are some good shops in North east as well.
So, what are some of the things you guys do? (i.e intake, exhaust, hfc install, what kind of dyno, upgrade brake kits, fluids etc). It'll be good to let members know what's your facility like and what services do you offer.

No Dyno unfortunately. But we should have a lift in a few months.
We focus on bolt-on upgrades, so anything that can be bolted on we can handle. Maintenance and Oil Changes are also something we like to do, which a lot of shops don't like to do but we feel it's pretty necessary to only upgrade a well maintained car. Since we have a Road Race background, Brakes, Suspension and Handling are what we like to emphasize. We also treat our clients as clients instead of customers. We like to work with clients to see where they want to go with their cars and help them work toward that. We also are enthusiasts who mostly have day jobs in addition to working/owning the shop, so we also understand how hard people work for their money so we will always direct folks to do upgrades in stages and do items where labor can be grouped together with other upgrades to save labor money. If you want something installed, just ask us, we will give you the straight-talk on if we feel it will benefit you and if we can do it. If we can't, we'll find a trusted shop that can help you out. -mike

I was scoping out tuner shops in my area, and I came across this shop. I wanted to test & check them out, so I decided to have them do my first oil change....lemme tell you, it was fast, professional, and these guys seem to love what they do! I'm planning to do further mods (CBE|intakes|oil cooler) to my Z, and I would seriously consider having this shop do it. Since they seem to be cool guys, I even left them some $$ for a case of beer on me.
Thanks guys, and good luck on your project Subaru. I hope you complete it soon and race it! PS...I was the guy who brought the 09' Silver 370Z. |

Could you guys PM me or post your phone number? I think I might have you install the exhaust I just ordered. The shops around me couldn't tell the difference between a 370Z and a 911
