Default East Coast Z Nationals-Carlisle, Pennsylvania

On May 22-23, 2010, five Tri-State area Z clubs will be hosting the East Coast Z Nationals as part of Import Kit Nationals at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The hosting clubs include the White Rose Z Club, Maryland Z Club, East Coast Z Association, Connecticut Z Car Club, and the New Jersey Z Car Club.

The event will include a Peoples Choice car show on Saturday (May 22) and a track event on Sunday (May 23) at the Quarter Ace Drag way in Mount Holly Springs, Pa. The car show will be judged by Z vintage classes and all show participants will be able to vote on their favorite Z’s. The show will also have 50/50’s and raffle prizes.

Hotel accommodations (50 rooms) have been secured for the event at the Hotel Carlisle in Carlisle, Pennsylvania at a rate of $111.00 per night. The hotel website is Hotel Carlisle and Embers Convention Center a Luxury Carlisle PA Hotel. The hotel is one of the nicer hotels in the area and does not require a two night minimum like other hotels in the area for this weekend event. Rooms can be reserved under the name “East Coast Z Association”.

A social get together is planned for Saturday night in the hotel lounge following the car show. Rooms must be reserved by April 22, 2010. All East Coast Z National event participants will be staying together at the hotel in one of hotel carriage houses. The hotel has plenty of parking and space for trailers.

A flyer for the event can be found at:

I'm intrigued! Dates are clear for me, just have to see how the finances are looking as the event draws nearer

Is the track event only a 1/8 mile drag race?

Update:

The Z Car Club of New York (ZANY) has officially signed on as a participating club for the East Coast Z Nationals in Carlisle, Pa on May 22-23, 2010. This makes the 6th Z club to join in for the event.

Be sure to make your hotel reservations by April 21, 2010 or the reserved rooms will no longer be available. The hotel is completely booked at this point and the only rooms available are the 50 rooms for the event reserved under the East Coast Z Association.

Just a reminder everyone that hotel reservations have to be made by 4/21. After this date their is no guarantee that rooms will be available. The hotel is completely booked for that weekend without the blocked rooms that we have.

Just a reminder tomorrow is the last day to reserve your rooms at the Hotel Carlisle for the event. After that rooms can't be guaranteed. The hotel is booked as far as I know.

I just got the word that approximately 10 guys (5-7 Z's) from ZCOT are making the trek down from CT.
