PA/NJ/DE Fall drive
 

Good afternoon all, I'm thinking of doing a fall drive across some back roads of PA sometime in the second weekend of October maybe even the third depending on the foliage. Who would be interested? Thoughts on a hour drive?

Here are a few I'm looking at.

Potentially interested. What day are you thinking of going? And since this weekend falls partly in September and partly in October, which date are you considering 2nd/3rd?

It would be the first or second weekend of October not September. Probably a Saturday so 7 or 14th

May be interested, date and general route would let me pin it down a bit more.

I'm in CT so will not attend, but those roads you mention are highly recommended. Have fun!:tup:

I'm thinking Route 225 head up North hitting Peter's Mountain Appalation Trail, Finishing up at 2706 PA-225, Herndon, PA 17830 which is White Oak Tavern.

I'm open to suggestions as well.

I'm game depending on the date/time selected. 225N would definitely be a good drive on a nice fall day.

I hope not because I can't do it tomorrow. I don't want to organize, but what about the weekend of the 21st/22nd? That will be peak foliage season around here too.

Don't know if anyone will be doing photos but that would be an awesome addition to this trip.

I'm still a tentative yes - waiting to see the final details of what time and where. I have something on Saturday evening that I need to be back for, so if it's in the afternoon/a good distance from my place I won't be able to make it.

Last word was 10am... I also have an evening thing going on, but this was not too far for me to go, so I wasn't too concerned. What concerns me now is the lack of interest / information. 745 views, and not a single person commited.

Great time out in the fun back roads of PA. I plan on doing this next year around the same time. Only with a more panned out route. Here are a few photos and videos of the adventures today. Pictures taken with Pixel 2!!
