MA: Disable Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)/Active Sound Enhancement (ASE)
I picked up a 2016 370Z a few weeks ago and right away got annoyed with the Active Sound Enhancement (ASE).
I read a few threads about the dealer using CONSULT to disable it, however the three dealers near me in Framingham, MA aren't familiar with the settings. Has anyone in MA or NH had any luck with a dealer disabling Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)/Active Sound Enhancement (ASE)? Thanks |
The procedure should be in the latest FSM or they can call Nissan HQ. IIRC, someone has posted the needed page(s) on this site; use any major search engine and add "site:the370z.com" to your search string. Eg, https://duckduckgo.com/?q=ANC site:the370z.com
This is exactly why I no longer drive a Nissan - dealers can't be bothered to find out how to do their job. |
Thanks, I'll take that info with me and leave it with the local dealer. Hopefully, between the handout and the call to Nissan HQ, they can figure it out.
I can't have that artificial noise getting in the way of the Exhaust that's on the way. |
You can try kaizen tuning, they are fairly close. And when your ready, have them ecutek your car. Best mod I did for mine.

Kind of a hike for you, but if Kaizen can't do it (can't imagine why) you could try Peters up in Nashua. I have had an excellent experience with their service department.

I ended up with an exhaust and this was never an issue afterwards.
