Sounds like they inserted VQ sound clips for the engine note.
|
I wish they would have provided more information about the car such as the suspension, the brakes; and I wish they would have 'popped the hood' to confirm if this was the Q engine or not. Regardless, I'm excited - looks like they are going to do it; and it looks like I'll be saving my pennies to actually consider one when it comes out. I just hope that Nissan dealers don't look to add ADM bc that will just be a 'no-go' for me. It is exciting to know we are finally getting a new Z. :)

I just hope they fix the clutch issue. but that blue

That was the most useless 30 min of this whole journey! I'm thoroughly pissed. The only people tuning to watch this are those of us who are already Z enthusiasts and the last thing we want to see more Nissan marketing ******** by a C.O.O. The fact that they provided
And to top it off, after watching this nothingburger, I went to the Nissan USA site hoping for more details and this is what I found: http://www.the370z.com/members/ltull...an-no-show.jpg |
Lol I did same thing in hope that they would tell us what options will come with it or be offered. But nice touch having Cody Walker introduce the Z

This presentation is as bad as the ProtoZ reveal video. Nissan needs someone like Andreas Preuninger (Porsche GT division chief). |

My guess is that they are limiting the reveal so that news orgs actually have a purpose tomorrow and or days/weeks to come in revealing more info.. droppin breadcrumbs. |
Engine bay looks like a mess to me for some reason.

This almost feel like one of those bad vendors stringing excited customers along for the ride to a failed product :icon17:
At least Nissan didn't take preorder money to R&D the new Z.... yet :ugh: Can't wait to go test drive one though :driving: |

thekinn provided this link in the other thread, so I thought I'd put it here as well. Much more information to chew on than what was in the reveal. I'm not impressed with the new model. The wow factor just isn't there for me. That said, I celebrate any manufacturer that is willing to invest any effort to continue to market and sell a high-performance, manual grand tourer. I hope that it's a success in today's world of hybrid CUV's and electric saloons. |

Raitis ride has the best review on youtube; Has everything you need to know...
I'm all over this!! I'll never ever ever ever buy another Automatic transmission product from Nissan again. Learned my lesson :driving: |
I'm also suspecting that they are not releasing more pricing info because they are waiting to gauge feedback and interest They absolutely know what their costs are. I get it that they are still 9 mos from starting to take orders; and they there's no incentive to commit to anything now; but I certainly expected more than "40's". I'm only interested in a Nismo version which probably won't be available until 2024, and I'm now expecting that to be $50-55K. If so, screw that as I'll go get a 3 yr old Cayman GTS instead, where I won't have to spend $3k more to track it.
And one last thing, I'm pretty active on Quora and within an hour of the Reveal Event, there was a question posted "Is the 2023 Nissan Z with 400hp turbo V6 and manual transmission a car enthusiast's dream come true? If that's not some blatant Nissan Corp lackey's market research question I don't know what is, and I lost my **** calling them out on it. |
