All that tech though, and it doesn’t really make amazing power... would like to see a dyno graph on it to really understand the benefits

I think the intent was to combine v6 power without sacrificing any of the traditional 4cyl mpg but agree, it doesn't seem to be much better than a normal 2.0T in either category. Should be interesting to see how this engine fairs.
