C&D tells you it's rumor instead of trying to pass it off as fact. The only fact I know is Honda is gonna make a baby NSX with a 4 banger engine. Like those pics above, but that won't be an S2K.

The S2K and Z are both limbo rumor with no substance.

I personally feel the camaro interior is the superior interior. It's drawbacks are screen position and weird a/c operation. But... it looks like a proper interior.
I think our interior can be the best interior still with some material and color updates and a new stereo center update.
This is what my Z interior (from a 2016 but looks the same) looks like with touring, sports, navigation/BOSE, etc.

This, IMO, is absolutely better than the new Camaro interior.

The Z has soft touch interior materials. You just have to buy the upgrades to get it. I have things in my 2013 Z you can't even get on any regular 2017 Camaro like microfiber seat inserts. Only Camaros to have those are the 1LE package or the ZL1 model. My Z also has soft touch everywhere, properly placed air vents, dial-controlled (also voice controlled) nav and stereo, plus plush knee braces.

Not by today's standards. We all have those spots you're talking about. Your microfiber in base cars have soft touch cloth. We all have the knee pad and that is a nice touch. But our door sills and dash top are outdated. ESPECIALLY for the price of our cars.

Then when we.get into cheap plastic
around the dash. It's extremely outdated. Our contours and colors leave to be desired.

The camaro isn't a perfect interior but the appointments on the doors, dash and sills are unquestionably higher quality. To not see that would be objectified fanboyism.

Nissa needs to get up to 2014 standards. Cuz it was 2014 when we saw a load of cars get this huge upgrade in interior materials. When the Z came out. Our materials were fine. As good as you can get on a sub-premium car. The touring was just the hey look I have leather too package. And that's fine for those who think power seats are necessary in a car with no back seats that can't recline. And a Bose stereo that's sounds like an RDS with extra bass that's distorted. For half the cost of the touring. I have a system that is concealed in my car but is Comp SQ. But I digress. To each his own. My point though is. The Z is not up to snuff in materials even if you compare interior quality to a Hyundai Elantra
Cars have moved up and we're stagnant. Nissan should want to make a better product... This isn't the 90's when Nissan had 5 sports cars to engineer and keep up to date. They have one real sports car and two GT cars. They have over a dozen bread and butter vehicles between Nissan and infiniti. It shouldn't be much to make these types of improvements even with low sales numbers. The Nissan bread and butter line up more than supports the corporate agenda.

And you can get microfiber on a camaro if you get a Z/28 which isn't out yet. N in case you didn't know. Microfiber is being used less in cars because it's been proven to wear badly.

Got anything to substantiate that? I'm seeing more cars with it than less (compared to past years). And my Z with it has over 41,000 miles and my seats still look like new.

Unfortunately, the new s2000 is rumoured as being a mid engine car. Not saying that's a bad thing... Because it's not. But what sucks is that it has NOTHING to do with the s2000 whatsoever.

From the original s600, to the s800, to the s2000, they've always been convertibles. Making a baby NSX just seems weird now. If they call it something else, I'll have no issues with it.

Regardless, the car is coming.

That is also the same interior of a '09 Z, which is pretty sad.

I love Zs, I'll rep them until I die and will always own one, but my buddy just got the 50th anniversary SS and the Zs interior isn't anywhere close. Not sure if you've sat in one but keep an open mind! Chevy is doing awesome stuff with that car (z28, zl1 etc) that any car dude should appreciate

I sat in the new Camaro ZL1 (and drove it a bit) and wasn't impressed with the interior at all. The stereo LCD screen has no protection at all (not cowled) and is glossy and at an odd angle. The dash yo the right side us just a flat expanse of wasted space (no curves and unutilized). There are completely unnecessary cowls on top of the dash in front of steering wheel - can't tell why they're there but they're highly annoying. Chevy missed an opportunity to lose those and cut down on the "sitting in a bunker" feeling so many people complain about. Also the vents being right where you hand/arm rests is so odd and not smart IMO.

Call me oldschool but I prefer a simple interior. I don't need all these bells and whistles that everyone seems to be clamoring for. Hell, it took me a while to get used to having buttons on the steering wheel. Just give me a car that looks good and is fun to drive.

Perhaps you need an NA chassis MX5?
