I was looking at the Specs for the new Kia Stinger. 3.3 Ltr V6 TT, 365 HP, 376 lb-ft torque. (for Gt1 or GT2 option)
Tis is not in the same category as the Z but Infiniti Q and Acura, watch out. This TYPE of engine would be a MONSTER in the Z. Yes, You can do better with Aftermarket, but you got to pay and do the work. At a price point LESS or close to the Z, this would be a bargain. Again, a different class and it's KIA, but engine wise, it would be an easy build on the VQ engine. https://www.kia.com/us/en/vehicle/stinger/2018/features |

Now if it just doesn't come with a hybrid power train... |

It looks like it's a video put out by the same group, the description looks as if it was copy pasted from the article linked above. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8__-forn5os Conclusion...this is just more click bait, by using sensational titles and topics to generate clicks, views and potential marketing exposure of Z enthusiasts to website ad's. Nothing to see here folks, just stop linking these cheesy articles and wait for more concrete evidence from reputable sources who know how to publish information. If it isn't on motor trend, autoweek, announced quoted and or recorded at an auto convention (Tokyo auto show, Detroit auto show...etc) or not officially released via one of Nissans official channels, it's probably just more BS. Yes, the horse has gone from being dead, to glue and beyond. Let it die with dignity. |
So.....................what you are saying. It's all Fake News! Like CNN.

Am I the only one thinking there will not be any new z generation for a while much like the gap between z32 and z33. I've seen more articles quoting Phillipe Klein possibly killing the z and focusing on the GTR and juke. Just seems like we should have seen/ read something.

One shaky article at best..... who wants a new Z if it’s a crossover anyway |
It's "Fake News" Nissan doesn't have a clue what they are going yo do? It will take them a few years just as it did before the 350 came into being. It will just be about how much it cost and if it will be a e car. I hope, like others that they remember the z is responsible for their rich racing history. There was a reason the GTR was not raced by Americans back in the day, the Z was better!

Nissan, just let it go |
Fairly easy to speculate what is going to happen. I don't think Nissan will stop the z line although they will ruin it before they do.
It's been 9 years now and every year the car stays the same and some years seems to make minor cosmetic changes and really that's about it. Ok sure there has been a few changes here and there mechanically but hardly worth paying the extra premium for the newer year...Not to mention the price of the z-car currently is already pretty pricey compared to what you can get nowadays. Don't get me wrong, i love the car and everything about it, but i think Nissan has been humping the horse for the past decade on the z so if thats any indication of how things are looking then the future for the z isn't as bright as we'd all like to hope for. |
