I was going to raise you the 72k base model grey for sale in Gainesville, but lo and behold it’s actually gone now. I saw it outside of town the other day. I think someone traded their 2011 base Z in for it as it’s for sale on the dealer site. I cannot believe anyone bought it. 72k. |

I also like that the 370 has hydraulic steering. I have yet to drive a car with electronic steering that felt right. But admittedly I've not driven 50 cars either. Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk |

I was wrong, and I’m happy about it
Ok y’all, I’ll be the first to admit I was wrong about the new Z.
On Saturday was out for a drive with the wife and we were in line at a 4 way stop and to our right pulling up to the stop sign lo and behold but a brand spanking new proto Z or whatever the limited yellow launch edition is called. We saw it n motion, stopped in profile and then it turned and drove by us. It looked great from every angle. In the yellow, we didn’t even notice the stupid silver “katana blades”. First reaction from both of us was: we’re definitely adding a nismo Z one to our stable eventually. Hopefully it’ll be a manual since we already have a dsg sports car but even an auto would be ok, just means we’d drive it more lol. So I was wrong, my initial impression of the new Z based off pics was meh, but in person out in the world, I like it. It’s not 911 gorgeous but it looks good, has a very Japanese aesthetic in person reminds me of the 300zx in that regard. The 370z is beautiful bc imo it’s channeling it’s inner Porsche. |
FL 4Motion, Very nice to hear. I always had a feeling, that it would look nicer in person than in pics. Hopefully, I'll get to test drive one. I don't think I'll replace my M2 with it, but never say never.

M2 is a great car. I would never replace our TT RS for a new Z either, but wifey and I both are planning on adding a nismo version to our garage for sure. I don’t even like yellow cars and the proto looked so damn good I would even consider that color/particular z if I were in the market now. |

Anyone try to get that gauge cluster to work in a Z34 yet?
|
In case there was any doubt . . .
I just went to SPL's website and compared the part numbers for Z and RZ34 - they're the same across platforms. Hilarious since they declined to answer when I asked about this a few months ago. |
