But the bottom portion body colored I must say looks pretty good while still keeping the lower part of the diffuser.
+3. Instantly better. Thanks!

Hopefully Nissan is watching this thread.

Looks much better in body color, when I get mine I will paint it, looks more uniform.

But you shouldn't have to do that.

It should come with body color paint, and let the people who want it black have the options of vinyl wrap or paint. Black is basically black. Body color is not.

To be honest I think the black roof line will be an option and I saw someone on the 400z forum say it will be part of the "launch edition" (I don't know how accurate that is but I can see that being true). Also I think the carbon fiber will be an option. I personally would option to have it, and then wrap the bottom part of the diffuser body color. And I would wrap the silver roof line stripe black as well.

Also I think a carbon fiber spoiler would look great.
Nice job on that render, it’s an improvement definitely. Still, I don’t know what it is about that back end, it really disturbs me. I don’t know why, but it keeps reminding me of a bad mustang knock off. Perhaps I don’t like retro styling too much.

The one on too make the back end look skinnier. Imo not a fan of it. The bottom one looks better and gives it a wider look

I'll be in my bunk!

Still waiting on the Nismo version. When I saw the new 300zx back in 1990 I was, "IT is OK". When I saw the Twin Turbo version it was love at first site. Same with the 370z. I liked the sport but when I saw a NISMO, it was all over. I had to have one. The 350z, hated it. LOL

I really like Sketch Monkey's video showing what could be done differently. Pretty much lines up with my original impression. At the EOD, the potential is there and may well be the shot in the arm the segment needs. Even the aftermarket will be re energized

Okay guys at this point STFU about the front. If you knew any better you'd be on the design team. Clearly FI requires more air flow. Black out the bottom if you must but jesus!

LMAO, who died and left you as judge, jury and executioner...GTFO!!! Nissan put this out for public consumption so they could hear the feedback and give us something to talk about. It keeps the Z relevant unlike your comment.

+1. It took less than 24 hours for some people to tell us they were over the constructive criticism. (Yes, constructive. 99.9% of people here want Nissan and the Z especially to rock on, so stuff we say, even negative, is meant to help.) Now we are at 48 hours and some people are telling us to go F ourselves. Well I say right back at cha. I think they must have played on those soccer teams where no score was held, or their mama told them good job Billy when they struck out after 4 pitches instead of 3. Rolling my eyes here in SW Ohio.

I'm just saying if everyone is gonna armchair quarterback I'll be happy to say otherwise. I mean seriously all we see is banter about a front end that can easily be adjusted with aftermarket. Look I'm not saying it's perfect, but I guess I would have expected this community of all others would have had nothing but positive to say after such a stretch. Just me though, I guess. My bad
