The VC-Turbo technology is already production ready for the 2019 Altima...
I think the VC-Turbo will be a differentiator for the next gen Z's performance on the track when coupled with AWD and direct injection. Area under the power curve makes a huge difference compared to peak power.

All they hadda do was...

Lighten the chassis with higher tensile steel and lighter materials.

Stretch out the wheelbase to 102.9"

Design the trunk to 9 cu ft.

Ride height 51" Nismo 50"

Bubble out the fender flavors in the front.
Box them out in the back with a hint of round.

Get that aerial coke bottle look.

Modernize the interior.

Evolve the current Nismo bumper to be the standard Z bumper.

Redesign a whole new Nismo bumper.

Embolden the side glass styling.

Take the q60 engine n work on it to be loud.

DCT

And you're done. New Z.

Oh, new head and tailights

Nissan '400Z' Is Reportedly Happening With a 475-HP Nismo Version - The Drive
Reported:
Nissan and Mercedes formed alliance to build next Z35, and will be using/sharing same platform as Q60 (V6 3.0 TT) .
Nismo will be 475hp all wheel drive.
