An administrator on the GTRlife forum posted that a Japanese magazine is saying Z35 won’t arrive until ‘25. What we get before that is a highly revised Z34 for ‘21 with new front end, interior and 3.0T motor. That mule at the ring could have simply been testing the current car with the new motor. Who knows but thought I’d pass it along.

Seems like alot of work to do a "modified" Z34 chassis with the 3.0T and go through all the paperwork just for it to be a stopgap but hey, if there are good parts for us to scrounge, go for it

If they just change the bumper cover. It might not need to be certified for that. If they make changes to the frame, bumper support. That would need to be certified.

You can change the hood, fenders, headlights and bumper cover, and make it look drastic. Wouldn't be that much work on the frame. I don't see them making major changes on the frame to make it look "drastic". It would cost too much.
