Need help from forum members re: warranty contract

Good afternoon forum members. I was wondering if you all can give me some pointers or advice on what I can do about my situation. Let me give you all a run down of what happened.

On Friday the 24th, my 2010 Nismo 370z suffered the steering wheel lock issue. I towed the vehicle in to Lithia Nissan of Fresno on Monday the 27th to get the repair fixed since I purchased an aftermarket warranty from the Nissan dealership (Santa Barbara Nissan) and it covered the repair. OR SO I THOUGHT.

I get a call from Lithia Nissan today stating that the repairs are not covered through either Nissan or the aftermarket warranty company (Protective Asset Protection). The copy of the contract for the warranty that I have is for the "SELECT" warranty, which is the best one they offer, but the warranty that was submitted to the warranty company by Santa Barbara Nissan was for the "Mileage Protection Plan" which does not cover the repair.

I called and spoke to Pedro in the finance department at Santa Barbara Nissan. He couldn't help me out but directed me to a lady who's name I can't remember. She told me that the finance manager that dealt with my contract is off today, but I signed two contracts for both the "SELECT" and "MPP" warranty. She told me the "SELECT" warranty should of been voided and I should only have a contract for the "MPP" which I don't have. She said the contract for the vehicle shows the price for the MPP warranty and also not for the SELECT warranty. She told me the owner of the dealership would not help me in any way either and there's nothing further they can do for me.

My question to you all is what can I do? There is no where on the contract that I have for the "SELECT" warranty saying that it is voided. Should I just pay for the repairs myself and hopefully hope that Nissan USA helps me with any type of reimbursement.

Tell them there is a RECALL and to fúck off and die

The dealership said that there isn't a recall for my car under my VIN#. He said only certain 370z's qualified and mine did not. The sad part is the car is already fixed and just waiting for payment.

Call corporate and start a claim, the first person you speak to in India is just there to take your info, so don't get pissed at them. Just give the info they want, then wait for a reply the next day from the district manager in your area

Thanks DEpointfive0. I'll do that tomorrow. I just looked at the website for the contact info and they just closed two minutes ago.

BYI. "Snatch" was a great movie. That's where your username comes from right?

As soon as you get the car back, pull the fuse. See link in my sig for more info.
