Passenger Side Window won't close
I started my 2010 roadster today, dropped the top and tried to put up the windows and the passenger side won't close/raise. So I parked it back in the garage and took my other car to work. Any quick (and easy) things I can try before bringing it in to a mechanic? Please bear in mind I am pretty much a beginner which it comes to car self maintenance. I was thinking check the fuse(s). After that...a bit lost. Any help is appreciated! Thanks :tiphat:

tech at nissan let me in on a little secret so i dont have to pay for them to look at it. now i havent had to do this is like 2 years so someone may need to confirm. i believe if you hold the window switch for that window up for about 30 seconds you should hear a faint click or pop sound. should reset the motor/switch. or maybe it was holding it down.....again i did this like 2 years ago but i know it works. |
If it's not a fuse (locations in owner's manual and FSM), try the window reset procedure. Push both down buttons and hold for ~5 secs after the windows are down; repeat going up. If none of that works, I suspect a bad motor/control module.
Oh! Try the passenger side switch. If it works, then it's probably a driver switch or module problem. |

but that switch reset procedure worked for me multiple tires when doing mod and battery disconnects. |
Thanks fellas!!!!!! I'll try it when I get home!!! Forum help FTW!!!!!! :happydance::driving:

The suggested fixes did not work because there was a moron (me) operating the vehicle. It appears I activated the window lock hence the passenger windows did not operate.....duh!!!!:shakes head:

Glad to hear it was a simple fix.

I was just about to tell you about the window lock. Happened to me too!

Ditto. I've done it too. Doh
