Default Rattling noise coming from front or front middle of 370z

So I just got my 2014 370z (less than 500 miles on it)..installed the invidia cbe, no problems (as far as I knew). Then installed the stillen gen 3 cai. After I noticed a rattle noise that sounds like its coming from front of vehicle. Not sure if it is "just the way they are" like I have read in multiple other threads. Also not sure if I just didn't hear it before I put the cai on never noticed it..I really only hear it when I am at a stop and when I am in first pulling away right when I am engaging the clutch. As I accelerate, it doesn't get louder or anything either. Like I said its a slight rattle noise. I feel like I kinda hear it when I switch gears up to 3rd gear (might be my imagination). Is this normal? I don't think its the intake bc a buddy held down the tubes as I reved it to 3k rpms and still heard it. Help me out guys! I just got this thing!!

I have a stock 2009 370z manual trans with the same rattling noise. I hear this rattling noise that seems to come from either the mid section to the front of the car. I hear it at low rpms when im at 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears. When Im at a complete stop and put the car in neutral, press the gas, I hear it in the low rpms. I'm not sure what it is :/.
I just hope it is nothing serious. I have 37k miles on it, I know i have to do my 30k maintenance on it.

Sorry if this isnt much help but I guess if it makes us both feel better... we are not the only ones.

Hmmm... I don't know if this is your problem or not, but years ago I had a Mustang GT and one day I started it up and it sounded like the tailpipes were dragging on the pavement. It was still under warranty so I took it to the dealership and they replaced the catalytic converters. The noise was gone.

Hmmm I'm not sure. It's kind of a subtle sound but distinct enough that you can hear it. I read somewhere that it might be the bracket that holds the exhaust. The bracket loosens up and the rattling is from the exhaust pipes vibrating ... But I'm not 100% sure about this o

When I pull into my driveway and the car is hot, I put the manual transmission into neutral and you can hear a slight rattle or clanging sound. If I press on the clutch it goes away. I was told that Nissan uses a split clutch plate on the Z's and that clanging sound is normal. I ignore it and it hasn't gotten any worse or caused any problems.

Hmm but for me it's not only when the car is in neutral ...it's also in the first 3000 Rpms' in each 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears

That sound is the clutch I noticed it when I was stock. Then it got a little more noticeable when I went to a stage 2 clutch but still minimal. What made me sure it was the clutch making that noise is that when I put in the light weight flywheel it got very loud. It's just chatter coming from the clutch not much you can do.

I know the clutch's spring causes a tapping feeling to the foot ... But what I'm talking about hasn't happened until this winter ... And I bought my car in 2010

I'm asking because I'm pretty sure I read that the 2009 models Have rattling noises that derive from the clamp by the exhaust pipes ... But in your case not sure where the rattling is comming from

So I went to a mechanic to swap my lugnuts and I told him how the rattling noise and he said when the car was on the lift ... They didn't see anything under the car that would cause the rattling ... So now I really don't know what this rattling noise is

I've noticed a slight rattling on my 2011 Z. It seems to come and go, but it's exactly the same thing you mentioned here. The sound happens at low RPM's while going under 40mph and fades out after about 4k. After 40mph the sound seems to disappear altogether.

I had my dealership check it out within the first month I had the car but they found nothing wrong with it. 10k miles later, I've seen it come and go maybe 2 or 3 more times. It doesn't seem to effect any performance and I haven't found any distinct wear under the hood on anything.
