Thanks for the info Vipor! Just called my dealership about an hour ago and the springs are on the way. I'm so glad I have a dealership that doesn't give me any grief.

Ironic! In my 350Z it's exactly the other way around...The hatch door actually slams on my head if I don't prop it open! Nissan needs to get with the program!

Had problem at two weeks old...dealer put a little white lithium grease on it and no further problems. I noticed it on colder mornings only. Seems to be fine now except for the grease on the latch...it could get on your clothes or head.
