Don’t know if anyone uses this thread but I just got this problem as well. Had a similar thud feeling to OP when the light came on guess a rock knock something around. Anyways I read on a 350z forum that this can be caused by a “bad fill up” at the gas station, which makes sense cause I used a broken pump a week ago. They recommend filling the tank up fully and clearing the code. CEL Shouldn’t come back after that.
