Low Mileage maintenance

The main reason you replace brake fluid is the fact that it absorbs water. 4 years is too long.

I agree it is hygroscopic but I don't go looking for trouble. If I have an issue I'll swap it out (not sure if I'll gravity drain or pump change or use pressure method) but as long as the pedal feels good and I'm stopping I'm leaving it alone. Hey, my brake pads still look brand new, the fluid hasn't dropped at all or changed color (my two criteria for judging), so I think I'll leave it alone for now.

And if you don't track or do canyon runs, I agree, you'd be OK.

Hell, I don't think my dad has EVER changed brake fluid on any car he's owned, lol. But he has NO need to.
