Missing TPMS wire/harness?

I had my 2009 touring in for the steering wheel lock recall. I dont know what exactly they replace but whatever.

I had that performed. I picked up the car up that day and I had the blinking TPMS light and then it went solid to stay on.

So I looked up how to have the TPMS system 'relearn' the car. I go under the dash and locate what looks like the end going to the OBDII interface for the TPMS system and it was just sitting there on the OBD wireless loom, just not plugged into anything, the male end of the wire that has white wire. No mate for it.

I didnt cut open the OBD-II loom yet cause maybe they forgot something when they did the steering wheel lock recall. But is the other end of this harness anywhere? let me know!

That white wire located next to the OBD2 port is used to manually reset the TPMS light.

Yeah that is what I read, so that little guy just never connects to anything it just sits out there doing nothing the whole time?

It was just hanging out not plugged into anything.

Yeah just tuck it up by the USB port and forget it.

The key is the air pressure has to be spot on,if you use a crappy tire pressure gauge it won't work.
