Is this under warranty?

So I drove a 09 Tacoma until too many church members always asking for help moving things. It was ok when I was single and had plenty of time. When I got married, our second car is currently a Highlander. Being able to move 90% of the things we bought I decided it was time to enjoy life a little and ditch the Tacoma for a 370Z. I looked for 3 weeks after the truck was finally sold and found one in Shreveport, LA. Took a day off to drive there and back on the same day. It was a 2009 certified used with 29,500 miles on it.

The first picture is the day I took it home.

The second picture is a picture of the back quarter panel and the bottom panel. Please excuse the wrong lingo for the body parts. I took the car home like this and I noticed other Z's were flush. This is like this on both sides where the quarter panel juts out 1/8".

Is this covered under warranty? Because I have 4 days until the warranty expires and I figured if anyone would know it would be a forum full of Z owners.

Thanks!

I work in a bodyshop and I don't see anything out of the ordinary.

If anything I would be bitching about the rocker covers not matching the Quarter panel.

Its hard to tell from the picture if your saying the panel sits 1/8th of an inch out of place or the paint line is 1/8th of an inch out of place.

If its the paint line just get some tape, flat black paint, sand paper, and drop cloths and hit it up yourself. Tape off the area and set up the new line. Sand down the area to be painted...remember drop cloth the whole car or you will be claying the car later. Finally paint it and let it sit.

If its the panel then you can adjust how it sits yourself, there are 2 screws on the back side next to the wheel. I would try loosening those, and see if the panel goes the 1/8th of an inch or so back to the correct spot. Easiest way to loosen those is get a no2 Phillips bit and a small wrench that fits it..think its a 1/4.

Our Zs are notorious, unfortunately, for having mis matching panels since Nissan is dumb and still uses a tri coat paint...QAB in our case with the PW cars. :(
