Clutch fluid flush
I can't seem to find in the manual how often the clutch fluid is supposed to be changed. I'm getting near 20K and wonder if it is about time...car is less than 3 years old.

I would have to look but my guess is 30k when the brake fluid is supposed to be changed.

I'd do it asap.. you'd be surprised at how filthy it is. My brake fluid on the other hand looks new.
The bottom of the reservoir had some gunk accumulated... similar to the crap that builds up around the base of your bathroom tap spout. filth! Just be careful pouring in the fluid as it reservoir is less than 50mL and it's hard to pour from a full bottle. |
Goggle the "ranger method". I picked up the habit from owning Corvettes, but you basically clean out and refill the clutch fluid is regular basis, beyond occasionally doing a complete flush of the system. I cleaned out and refilled my clutch fluid about every 6 months, and have never had a clutch pedal related issue.

that's the one! i'm on the 4th suck out & refill.. still looking a bit green after an hour of driving (~30-40 clutch actuations)
