Thumbs up Victory!!! Nissan Recalls faulty Steering Locks!
I just received a call from Nissan USA informing me that a recall was issued Friday March 8th for the Steering Lock which has plagued so many faithful Z owners.
I had been burning up their phone lines since March 4th when I became a member of the "Dreaded Steering Lock Club". I held little hope as this situation has persisted since 09 with countless Z drivers left on the side of the road to tow their precious Z's in for a thousand dollar + fix for a problem that Nissan was perfectly aware of.
I now need to see about a refund from the dealer for the $1100 plus I spent and I hope any of you in the same boat do the same.

That wasn't the only reason, the main reason I didn't get a Z was because my local Nissan dealers wouldn't budge on the Nismo I wanted so I went to ford and got 6K off a new 5.0 instead.

sweet! i was lucky enough to get mine new for invoice in 2010. $37.7k isnt too bad

My car is kind of slow but I planned on hitting up a Z meet and seeing who's fast.
