Brake issue maybe

So this is about the 3rd time this happened to me. I'm driving about 40mph and slowly holding the break to make a stop. All of the sudden around 10 mph the car jerks forward like I hit something. Any reason for me to be concern I only have 230 miles on it. Has anyone experience this problem?
