Default Maroone Nissan of Pembroke Pines UGH

What's up everyone. I figured I'd share my service story with everyone to see what you guys think. I'll try to make it as short as possible.

I was driving this week from work and my ABS+SLIP light came on. I always drive my Z with the VDC off. I figured it was due to low brake fluid, but when I got home and checked my brake fluid, it was fine. I decided to take the car this past Saturday to Maroone Nissan of Pembroke Pines. From the start, I was very pleased with their service. I advised the guy about my ABS+SLIP, that I would like an oil change, the car cleaned, and to check the air in the tires because my TPMS (!) light was on (it came on, on Thursday). I also told them to be careful loading the car on the lift because it is lowered (my mistake, I think- read on). After waiting about 2 1/2 hours, the guy comes back and tells me they fixed the ABS+SLIP and changed the oil (fully synthetic, for $40!) good so far. Then the guy said "Oh and whoever installed the springs, messed up the wiring on the TPMS". I said "Oh yea? (acting dumb), the TPMS is where?" so he said "in the valve stems, that's where the wiring is"... so I told him "well that's funny, because I! installed the springs. I simple took off the rims, removed the shock/spring assembly, put the springs on and put it all back. No tire from rim, valve stem, or wiring removal at all" So of course, his reaction on his face was like "oh sh*t, [insert foot in mouth here]".

He told me that's what the mechanic said and it's going to cost me $705 to fix. I laughed in his face and said, give me back my Z please.

My question to everyone here is, is this BS or what? Could I have REALLY messed up the TPMS by removing the rims off the car and putting it back? Anyway, when I left... all of the lights were off and haven't come back on, yet.

OH YEA, my car was NEVER CLEANED either! Piece of sh*t dealer
