No you can add it on later. The clear bra is.. completely clear. You get that tiny line you see if you're pretty close, but it's well worth it for the protection. Mine came with a lot of the front done, but I added on more for the front of my roof. Unfortunately I already took a big stone chip that I had to touch up

At first I was like "I'm not sure I want to risk having an unsightly line on my roof" but trust me.. it's not really noticeable, plus nothing hurts your soul more than when you're drying your car after a wash and see a chunk of paint missing. Get it done dude! Earlier the better, because you get any/more chips.

You'll probably want to have it detailed before applying. wash, clay & machine polish or have a pro do it for you....then have it done. It's only really noticeable up close. I really wish I had it done.

Yes, but I suggest you not do it, if you have a lot of rock chips etc.

If you go with the higher end stuff like Ventureshield it is 100% clear and depending on how good the installer is and if you go full wrap on sections they can hide the edges by wrapping them...

My old 350z and wifes Sonata were done.. No lines full wrap of the front.

My 370z on order will be 100% wrapped every panel

Got my BC wrapped this weekend. There were some minor rock chips but the installer colored those in and installed over them.

-Full hood and bumper, side mirrors, fenders, rear panels behind rear wheels, and door edges. All edges were wrapped. Product was Ventureshield for full hood and 3M for the rest of car. Basically the same product.

Cost was $1150 for about 6.5 hours of work.

Looks great, can't tell the stuff is on there and the piece of mind is great. Just gotta remove bird crap right away and only synthetic waxes and no polishing.

Considering how much some of you are paying I would rather pay for a respray after a few years rather than a clear bra

Depends on the color of your car. If i had a lighter car i probably wouldnt do it but the darker colors just look nasty with chips. It's just me, it erks me.

I hate respraying also because the paint is usually fragile and chips again. It would erk me even more.

Best $600 bucks I've spent so far - full bumper & mirror and partial hood/fenders.

If I could do it all over, I would get the paint correction service from a good detailer, then get the clear bra.

My guy actually clayed some of the car before installing the clear bra. I had the following installed:

> Front Fascia
> Entire Hood
> Complete Front Fenders
> Mirrors
> "A" Pillars
> Lower Rocker Panels
> Complete Rear Quarters
> Area Behind the rear wheels

It took Albert about 8-hours and all I can say is that this guy is a real artist. All in all, it cost $1,425 and unless you knew where to look, you can't see the film. I am contemplating getting the rest of the car done for another $1,110 but may have to wait until next year.

My only regret is not getting more of the car covered. I've got some discoloration on the front bumper film which will hopefully be replaced under warranty and I want to add all the stuff you listed.

If only I had the skills to do this myself, I'd wrap every sq inch.
