Default Tire maintenance question

I recently purchased a 2010 Z and while driving yesterday a "Maintenance-Tire" prompt came up on the dash. I checked the pressures and they are all right at 35lbs so I don't think this is a pressure monitor issue. Since I am the second owner I was never walked through all the maintenance settings. Is this a pre-set item? I just turned over 15K. I mean, there is nothing that can monitor the thread depth...right? The rear tires are looking a little worn, but should have a few thousand miles left. If this is an maintenance menu thing, could the previous owner have set it at 15K...or the factory?

Never mind...tire rotation.

Tires can not be rotated. I had the same question. Appears this is just a check (air pressure).

You can set how many miles on your tires, to remind you to check them.
