What intake/exhaust mods won't kill warranty?

I opted to get a 6yr/75K gold-plus warranty on it (since my financing is for 6 years, and it's transferrable) options do I have that won't kill the warranty? NISMO

when the intake/exhaust is taken out, warranty on those things are gone obviously.

warranty will be void if something happens to the engine and the intake/exhaust is directly linked to it....as in, it was at fault...

some dealerships will install these intakes & exhausts and warranty is untouched

In most cases when the dealer ship installs aftermarket parts such as intake and exhaust you won't have any changes to your warranty.... but if you do have any issues you can bring up the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act...check out this link

Actually, as I understand it, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act only says that you don't have to use Nissan parts for replacement items - such as Nissan branded Air Filters, Oil Filters, Oil, or have to have the work done only at a Nissan shop.

It's one of the things that ruffles my feathers around here with the used car dealers saying they'll give you a lifetime warranty, and in the small print, with scheduled maintenance with the dealer's service department.

That example is exactly what hte Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is about...

When you change out components of the engine, and the engine blows up, and it can be attributed to the components you installed, be prepared for a warranty claim.

Think of it this way - if you install a turbo with 32psi of boost, and it melts holes through the pistons - do you think they'll cover it? No...

Say the exhaust flows better, resulting in more HP/Torque. Your differential blows....should that be covered? No.

You replace the air filter with a Fram filter, and the starter stops working. Should it be covered - yes....
