"no key" light
There has to be a thread about this but I can't find it but I when I'm in my car, I keep getting the "No Key" error and I have the Key right in front of the Start button.
Is there a thread on this that I can read or can someone give me some insight on why this is happening? This started happening this morning but when I put the Key in the Fobgina, it works. |

Pull the key fob apart and recharge it there is a port on the bottom left side of the steering wheel.

"no key" warning is related to a loss of communication with the smart key. when you insert it on the fobgina the key is validated via RFID witch will work even in very low battery. Try replacing the keyfob battery with a lithium 2032 battery.
Be warned, I had similar issue before my steering lock failed witch is a very common issue. (search threads) |

yah, your phone does emit some level of RF. try putting your fob in another pocket or your phone on the passenger seat and retry.
but it could be that your battery inside the fob is just low. you can source the battery online or radioshack. |

I see you have a 2009 model, you are lucky the battery lasted this long. Both mine and the bros fob battery went out a year ago. It's the battery.
