I took the car FROM the dealer, they don't know supposedly about the dreaded steering lock problem, they would charge me 1400 dollars and the wait time for the part

I took the car FROM the dealer, they don't know supposedly about the dreaded steering lock problem, they would charge me 1400 dollars and the wait time for the part is 2 weeks minimun. Dealers on the island kinda suck.
