Any one else had two 6mt transmission failures in 36000

This my second new transmission within 36000 miles. the first had 6th gear syncro issues and the second began to whine terribly. I am concerned that this 18000 mile tranny

I am concerned that this 18000 mile tranny replacement will continue. Is this a unique problem?
