2011 370z owners Recall!!!
Attention to all 2011 370z owners (not Nismo owners though) I work at the Nissan dealership and I'm letting know all the 2011 370z owners that they have a recall (few days ago) all on their vehicles with the power switch windows for driver and passenger sides. Come down to any Nissan Dealership to do the recall on your z. You will not be charged with the power switch parts or labor. If you have any questions feel free to message here. Have a great day!!!
Thanks Tim Mundy (ZMONSTER)

So is this for that issue where the window will continue to close, even when something obstructs it? Any info on the exact procedure for this recall?

WASHINGTON — Nissan is recalling 1,788 2011 Nissan 370Zs and 2011-'12 Infiniti G37 Coupes because of a defective power window switch controller, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. "Due to a programming error, the power window switch controller was manufactured out of specification," said NHTSA in its recalls summary of the problem. "The auto-reverse feature of the power windows does operate; however, should a body part become trapped by a closing window, a pinch injury may result before the window reverses." In documentation filed with the federal government, Nissan attributed the defect to "a supplier programming error that has since been corrected." Nissan and Infiniti dealers will replace the power window switches. The recall is expected to begin on November 28. Owners can contact Nissan at (800) 647-7261 or Infiniti at (800) 662-6200. |

Called up Nissan and asked about this recall, they asked for my VIN, ran it, and they said I had no issues/recalls present. So I guess its not for every 2011, or they have not been updated as of yet.
