OEM wiper blades
I need to replace them. Should I buy the whole unit for $12 or get the refill for $5. Anyone know if it is easy to pop the rubber off.
Thanks |
Buy Rain-X Lat. Wipers. Way better than OEM.

You need 21" for the driver side and 19" for the passenger side. They're excellent wipers and last pretty long time too. |
bought refills from the dealer, pretty easy to slide out old and slide in new. The end rubber flips up so you can slide the blades in and out.

Avoid Bosch Steel Tech wiper blades for the Z. Once installed the frame wedges under the base of the wiper arm, preventing the wiper from lying flat.
This is what I get for purchasing cheap wiper blades. Going with the Rain X Latitude. |
Another wiper blade to avoid are the Rain-X Fusions. They have the same problem as the Bosch steel wipers. They pinch under the wiper arm, refusing to lay flat.

just use oem refills. oem is best, imho.
check pn, but i think these are the ones for our cars based on the stuff i bought last time for maintenance: 28895-JF01A (passenger side) 28895-1EA0A (driver side) |
I have found that on most every car I have owned oem is best. I must have bought every kind of blade for a Honda I owned and they all sucked. Bought the oem and worked perfectly. Same with my BMW.

yep. 120% confidence aftermarket blades will not follow the contour of the glass from edge to edge.
one can source from Nissan Parts | Online Nissan OEM Parts and Accessories for pretty cheap. toss in a filter and washers or something to make the freight worthwhile. |

I got the Rain-X latitudes... I found them way better than the OEM's that they replaced.

I just bought some Goodyear's from Costco and are very impressed with the performance and fit. I've tried these on my other vehicles as well and also had good results.

How do you know you've gotten to the end of a car forum? When the hotness is a debate over windshield wipers...
I think I upgraded to the Rain-X at Walmart but that was right after I bought it so who knows by now. |
