I just installed some TRICO Force wipers. I like them because they look like OEM, are cheaper than OEM but perform better than OEM. They have the same wing look to them and don't look clunky like some aftermarket replacements. TRICO ForceŽ: High Peformance Beam Blades | TRICOŽ Windshield Wipers

can it fully wipe the glass from end to end without any lift? then good.
honestly oem wipers and refills are cheap. i rather not bother with aftermarket and just run oem on all my cars as i know they will fit and work properly. i rather spend the effort on other parts of the car. |

Or, there was no oil on my glass and the streaks were due to the worthless OEM wiper blades. Since I didn't clean the glass and the Bosch leave no streaks, I'm going with the lower quality OEM blades causing the streaks...

I've been driving for over 50 years and tried all kinds of aftermarket blades...most are crap. OEM blades are the only kind that I have found to work with any make car. Seems to be especially true with Japanese cars. I've owned Nissan's, Honda's, and a Toyota and tried all kinds of aftermarket blades on them and none work as good as the ones made for the car. Here in Chicago they are really put to the test.

A damp rag with armor all does wonders on keeping your blades almost like new. I swipe mine every time I wash my car. A year and a half later my wiper blades work perfectly.

My local Nissan Parts Dept gave me crap about refills not being available or order-able, kinda pushing me towards getting the whole wiper arm for $45 each. No thanks. I found the refills online from Nissan but they wanted $11 each plus $15 for shipping to Hawaii. No thanks. That's why I ended up with those Trico and have been using all week, they work great; full windshield coverage, no streaking, and very quiet.

Bumping this because the OEM replacement/refills are available on Ebay - with free shipping if you look hard enough!

I put some TRICO Force wipers on my 2011 sport coup, and they worked great... until the dealer threw them away and replaced them with cheap generics that block the spray nozzle during the 30k maintenance (which was a total waste of money. They charged me for rotating the tires. Yes, they did. And used non-synthetic oil. Never going to Kelly Nissan in Woburn ever again for service, but I digress). Fortunately I kept the OEM blade assemblies.
Nissanpartszone lets you put in your VIN to get exact parts. The numbers listed previously in this thread don't match my car, I just ordered these based on their VIN part matching: 28895-1MA1B 28895-1EA0B I actually got four of each to drive down the shipping cost. It's not as if I won't use them. |
