Went to dealer about airbag issue
They checked out the car and the woman said she got in the car and saw what I was talking about, but that the car wasn't throwing any codes.
She said that the passenger had to sit directly in the middle of the seat without sitting the on sides of the seat. My Fiancee said indian style in the seat yesterday however trying to make the light come on, but she couldn't do it. I have a feeling there will be more visits to the dealer in the future for this issue. |

Indian style?
What happens if she just sits normally/straight? It is common for airbag switches in many car models to *not* to activate if a smaller/lighter person sits in a non-standard way ( indian style, off to one side, etc), and with sport-style seats with higher side bolsters on the bottom cushion ( as is the case with the370z), it is even more sensitive to non-standard body positions. |

Indian Style? That is funny. What happens when she tries the punjabi style?
More than likely, the airbag sensor tripped up. The dealership will simply reset it, it is done under warranty. Try not to keep items under 10 lbs on your seats; that messes up with the sensor.

Now now, just because my Fiancee can sit like that is no reason to be upset. I mean your girlfriends being 300+ lbs and all... they aren't all going to be that limber.
