If the OP takes his vehicle to the dealership, they will reset the sensor at no charge and under 30mn; unless of course any potential aftermarket setup caused the failure.

I did take it to the dealer.... they did nothing. Just what I said on my first post. Pretty well worthless trip there actually. They said they scanned the codes and it didn't show anything.

Passenger Airbag light
I have the same problem with a 120lb passenger in my 2011. I've not had it back to the dealer but I have a feeling I'll get the same response that Methodical4u got since it is an intermittent fault.
I also think I have experienced the ice mode brake problem which resulted in a collision. At least the insurance company was OK with CF hood and fenders instead of OEM. The collision was not hard enough to deploy my airbag (no passenger on board) but was hard enough to do $8k damage! |

hmm Methodical, so they didn't even try resetting the sensor? you stated they scanned for error codesbut did they say anything about resetting the sensor?
The only time I had issue with that sensor is when I was poking around in the car, took the center unit out, the light came up after I put everything together; I took it to the Owings Mills Nissan dealership. Upon scanning they indicated that the sensor had tripped up and generated a code. They reset it and I never had that light back up ever since. This issue should be pretty straightforward to resolve, it sucks that it's dragging like this.
