Interior Backlighting Not Working

I have a 2011 Nismo 370Z with 250 miles on it. Last night was the first time I drove my car at night and I noticed that the Radio, Climate Control, VDC, etc backlighting wasn't working. After searching and going through the FSM/FSM wiring diagrams I'm guessing that I'll be getting a new combination meter. I'm going to go to the dealer on Monday and will update once the problem is fixed.

Did you check to make sure that the lights were not fully dimmed?

Yeah- you better play with the buttons on the upper right of the instrument cluster with the lights on. Otherwise you may be setting yourself up for a "FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU.." moment.

Thanks for the help and comments guys!

Yeah that was the first thing I checked. I even set them to full dim then full bright just to make sure it wasn't a glitch. All the other lights will dim or brighten and the ones listed above don't function.

Just got a call from Nissan and it was determined to be a loose ground wire. It's good that nothing needs to be replaced.

Worked for 2 days and went out again.....

Hmmm. Not a very good repair at all. Or maybe not just a loose ground. Keep us posted.

Okay so here's the update. I decided to check the guys work before bringing it back to the dealer. Checked the ground and it was tight. Found the hidden fuse box and the technician put a long pronged fuse in there instead of the correct short pronged fuse. The fuse was also blown. I took some pictures just in case.

So I put a new fuse in, turned the lights on, and the fuse blew instantly FML. So besides needing to find a different dealer I'm going to try and figure out what part of the circuit is blowing the fuse.
